About Our Founder
Katie Phillips founded KP Consultants after many successful years as a well known and highly regarded executive in the Mobile, Wireless, and Software industries. Most recently, as President and Chief Executive Officer of Mobile Digital Media, Inc., Katie spearheaded the expansion of Mobile Digital Media’s brand awareness and development of mobile applications for users from all walks of life. While at Mobile Digital Media, she was instrumental in building and managing the PDA and Mobile software accessory product line with partners such as Palm, Apple, Motorola, RIM, and through other mobile channels. In addition, she developed successful relationships with wireless companies such as Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and many international accounts.
Prior to managing Mobile Digital Media, Katie spent years building the corporate, retail, and distribution channel business for several mobile software and accessories companies, as well as her own start-up. This included introducing mobile products on behalf of hundreds of independent application developers that did not have the resources to launch and manage their applications independently.
As a seasoned professional, Katie understands the complexities that many growing companies face with staffing, funding, sales and marketing constraints and overall business difficulties. It is Katie’s goal through KP Consultants, to provide outstanding business services to companies that strive for success and are growth focused.
Outside of her career, Katie enjoys life with her husband Joe on their small home ranch just outside of Fort Worth, Texas. Katie is also very dedicated to devoting her time to improving and enriching the lives of women and children. Katie is a past Boys and Girls Club of Hood County Board of Director, is a long time mentor to children with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and spends a great deal of her time supporting women's needs. Katie also enjoys mentoring youth's in her area to keep them off drugs and out of trouble. Katie's long-term focus is building character and confidence in young people so they can realize and achieve their dreams.
